Bulldog Interactive Gym Bought by Media Firm

Bulldog InteractiveDHX Media, an international producer and distributor of family friendly television and interactive contents, has announced that it has bought Bulldog Interactive Fitness. The Canadian fitness chain which features training equipment based on video games, currently has eight locations across the country.

As reported by Game Forward, Bulldog Interactive encourages kids to be fit while having fun. Bulldog offers video game systems like Nintendo's Wii and software like Konami's Dance Dance Revolution, and other exercise programs to motivate kids. Read More...

DHX Media said in March, 2008 via news release that it had purchased the company for $625,000 and 99,333 DHX shares currently valued at $153,000. DHX Media shares last traded at $1.54 on the Toronto Stock Exchange, representing a market value of $65.6 million.
