After a whole week off, I was pretty excited to get back to work. However, my body doesn’t feel like co-operating today at all. I’m finally getting over a pesky chest cold, but every joint in my body is flared up and I can barely move because of pain and stiff muscles.

Luckily, I have Nathalie as my partner and she usually does a great job of picking up slack for me in times like this. I’m expecting a news round-up from her today or tomorrow and I’ve got her working on a review of Number Battle on DSiWare for me. She’s put quite a few hours into it so it must be pretty good. On my end, I’m hoping to finish up Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgement on XBLA today and get cracking on a review. I’m also reviewing a casual game for the iPhone/iPod Touch called Manic Monkey Mayhem this week. Besides that, I’ve got a rather large edition of The FWD Download in the works featuring some of the best Xbox LIVE Indie Games from the past few months and another edition highlighting some health & fitness apps.
Lastly, I’m going to be reviewing Hustle Kings on the PS3. It’s a great billiards simulation, but the title has a lot of things that keep it from being a fun video game.
I still have a ton of work to do on the site itself as well and may chip away at that this week, so Game Forward might be offline intermittently. I can’t wait to get back up to speed and see some real forward progress around here.
